AVOID - there are many brands that make this a waste of money. After 1 month the "Advanced Menu" for the PC software stopped working and their 1st and ONLY solution is not working. Without these settings available, the camera is garbage. Around the same time, she began missing a signal every few hours throughout the day, and every single day since. They never offered a replacement, refund or anything except that a person who speaks English as a fourth language called within 48 hours and offered the exact same non-working methods as their website. You will literally be waiting for an ignorant person to call to make sure you have proceeded as suggested. Then after a few apologies they hang up. The only thing to do is rinse and repeat. There is NO customer service unless you're like "Oh, sorry, okay. Will you try again tomorrow?" service. An iPhone app would be great if it had setup features. Not if you need features to actually get your camera set up properly and where you want it, though - You need to get the PC software to work so that it 'appears' It didn't show up to me for about a year, but it was there all the time my computer was using the power cord to access the internet ( this is a REQUIREMENT for the advanced SETTINGS menu, on a computer with Wi-Fi this menu is NOT available.) and their solutions will NOT fix it.) ***Update 07/09/21 - their updates always break something , but this time they do Finally they squeezed out all the value The detection software now warns especially on the screen that moves in any way (they broke the detection area feature) Literally triggers when a blade of grass moved. not even alert will forestall you when you grab the camera and shake it vigorously from all sides. You (I) can't even make it go low To top it off, and that was certainly intentional, as another money grab. Because nobody uses their expensive garbage cloud service - and why would they - when the camera is 62% more reliable and bigger? They made it so that SD cards from other manufacturers WILL NOT WORK in this camera. It just says "this works better with one of us" and refuses to format it. Talk about RAGE! This is one of the two worst purchases I have ever made here. Wise's husband would have known better. Don't fall victim like all of us.
