The medium would have fit perfectly, however, I took stars off because the seam that joins the top and skirt does not stretch at all. Since you have to pull it over your head to put it on I had to be really careful not to pull it too much so I didn’t break the thread and when it was on because the seam had no stretch when I moved it pulled and rubbed on my skin to make it too uncomfortable to wear. If that had not been the case then the medium would have fit me perfectly. I am 58 with a little stomach and have scoliosis so one hip sticks out slightly more than the other so this is my favorite style of dress and I was so hoping to love it. I ordered a dress from another seller for about $10 more and the fabric and everything else was exactly the same but their seam was sewed correctly so much more comfortable. At my height of 5’5” the dress just brushes the floor in bare feet so anyone shorter would need higher shoes or need to get it hemmed.
