These magnets do not work as hooks

All magnets stick to metal but these magnets are supposed to act as hooks. Advertised to hold a heavy weight "vertically" and less weight "horizontally" or some such thing. Well, when you put something on a hook there is always going to be a horizontal pull--even with great care--everytime you take something off the hook--even a light something like a down jacket, the hook falls off the door. These are not strong enough for hooks. Not returning them because returning anything to Best Buy from where I live is a total PITA and not worth my $16 dollars

They're an excellent option for those with limited mobility who need easy access to their belongings

Cons

The hooks may wear down surfaces they are attached to over time
