I use mine for storing dry food (humans and dogs). I needed a cheaper alternative to ziplock bags and glass jars. They meet all requirements. I have reused the same containers several times since purchasing them. They withstood the dishwasher and kept opening and closing them. I've had them in my pantry, fridge, and freezer with no problems. They're a little flimsy and flimsy so I can see where other uses (slime, hot liquids) can pose a problem. I also noticed that the lid is a bit awkward to remove. Good because it fits snugly, but due to its brittleness it is questionable if/when it will tear. I gave this product 5 stars because it fits my purpose perfectly at a great point and so far has withstood the dishwasher heat and freezer temperatures with repeated use.
