Not bad and economical

I tried other filters but they were either so cheap the images were badly distorted or they turned so red that the only "color correction" possible was to change the images black and black to make white. These filters are not distortion free, but the distortion is low, probably quite acceptable for most purposes. The orange filters have three densities and are realistically balanced with blue seawater. The fit of the filter holder to the camera body is fairly tight, but it seems wise to use a cable to secure it to the base of the camera in case it slips. The filters fit snugly in the holder and are unlikely to fall out accidentally; A thumbnail right on the edge can pull them out for replacement. The filters come with a clear protective plastic that must be removed before use. The filters are made of fairly soft plastic and should be handled and cleaned with care to avoid scratching. The kit comes in a waterproof zipped plastic case, making it fairly easy to install the filter before diving in wet conditions. It's probably best to estimate the amount of color correction required prior to diving, rather than underwater, based on the color of light provided by the weather, depth of dive, color of the water, and distance. on topic, although filters could be changed mid-dive. Color correction with filters is usually approximate, but approaching a neutral balance makes further correction with editing software easier, and actual colors (which would be visible in the environment under white or slightly warm light) are better preserved.
