Hard to believe this little thing works, but it does. I probably have about half a dozen different sized knee pads and this one is by far the best. Up until a few months ago, I was running four to six miles every day. One day I woke up in pain and couldn't walk more than a few blocks. After a visit to the orthopedist, X-ray and MRI, I was told that I had a torn meniscus. That it cannot be restored, but it can be shaved off with arthroscopic surgery, which can help. After that, my swelling went down, but I still couldn't walk very far and was very discouraged. My pain was on the right side of my left knee at the meniscus, but I also had an inch of pain running down the inside of my knee, a tendon I imagine. Then I bought this little bandage that really made a difference. I started running at a half mile hoping I would make it. I did it and now, two weeks later, I can run three miles in a day. I won't do too much too fast. I don't wear braces all the time, but the pain has almost completely gone even when I'm not wearing them. I'm a medium height woman with what I thought were large knees. I don't think it's that big because when I roll up the straps, they overlap a bit at the back. It still works fine. Just make sure to wear it below the kneecap or it will be uncomfortable and slip. Much luck. I hope Fit works for you as much as it did for me.!
