Review on Canon EOS Rebel T7 18-55mm DC III Kit: Full HD Video, Wi-Fi, NFC - Best Features and Value by En En Shiu ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is really good, I'm glad I bought it.

Yes, this is my first SLR. Before it, I shot with a smartphone, and to be honest, I won’t take it anymore. It's a pretty good camera, but it's far from perfect. Compared with this SLR - the quality of UG. But the approximation pleases, only it is of no use, because the quality, even with the ZSD function turned on (maximum sharpness at maximum approximation) UG. And I thought! But! Modern smartphones, such as the Galaxy S8 and others, will be on par with our DSLR, and somewhere, perhaps, they will get ahead of it. Only the price of such waffles will be in the region of semi-professional photos, and it’s better to take a closer look at them than at top-end smartphones. The telephone is first and foremost a telephone. And a camera is a camera. But if you are not a photographer, but just an amateur, like me, and even more so if you want a compact or a compact and at the same time an All-in-One device, then take a smartphone. And the quality will be at the level, and there is no need to carry too much. If we compare our photos with competitors, then Nikon, even if it has devices 2 years ago, goes head and shoulders above. There, the matrix is larger, and the panoramas stick together themselves, and the picture quality . But Nikon is more expensive! And the optics on it are more expensive! There is nothing to say about Sony - prices are like hornets! I will not say anything about the full frame. What is the conclusion - as the first SLR and in general "SLR" this device is suitable. Yes, it is a little cut down in functionality, and not as "professional" as its colleagues and competitors, but it is ideal for travel and every day shots! With the purchase of a new lens, you can unlock all the capabilities of this camera. Amateurs and pros alike will appreciate the photos. Time will pass, you will already learn how to take great pictures, buy a more expensive camera . And this photo will remain lying on the shelf and remind you of the pleasant moments of your life, warming up with the shots taken in due time. I won't say Canon is bad, but it's not perfect either. True, if you close your eyes to the shortcomings . =))))) To assess the quality of the image, I am attaching a few photos below:

Pros
  • So, the Canon EOS 1300D Kit is next in line. The device was purchased with EF-S 18-55 mm III. Mirror in hand first. And yes, I’ll say right away that I more or less understand photography and photographic equipment, I have shooting experience, however, I can make mistakes in some things, so please treat with understanding. Well, let's go! 1) This is a SLR, albeit a cropped one! 2) Rich equipment, there are versions with a lens in the kit, and without it 3) Nice appearance 4) Price! This is one of the most affordable DSLRs on the market. Like the camera itself, the optics are also cheap compared to the competition. 5) 18 Mpix CMOS matrix with low-pass (anti-moir) filter. Not a lot, but not a little, the filter reduces the sharpness of the picture, but increases the life of the matrix 6) Support for Canon and 3rd party interchangeable lenses with EF/EF-S mount 7) Good picture quality with 42-bit color depth 8) The presence of different modes for creativity 9) The presence of exposure bracketing! The thing is interesting when there is no HDR, but without a tripod the thing is useless, but if you dodge . 10) Full manual control over shooting! If only he wasn't there! 11) Simplicity of the menu and sickly functionality 12) 3" LCD display, 920220 dots 13) Extended ISO values - 100, 6400 and 12800! 14) Shooting in: Jpeg (well, that goes without saying), RAW or RAW + Jpeg 15) 9 AF points! There is one cross sensor in the center. Enough for amateur photography. Extras: Flash up to 9.2 m, shoe, support for memory cards, shooting video in FULL HD . I forgot to say, there is also Wi-Fi and NFC in the photo. I haven't used it, but the functions are very necessary and useful. Finally, the most important thing! Battery with a capacity of 860 (sort of) mAh! With average activity (I took a picture, looked at it, the camera was in hibernation and on the road), more than 200 frames can be obtained. At the same time, the battery will sit down somewhere on 1/3.
Cons
  • 1) The low pass filter reduces the sharpness of the image. it remains only to spit on it and shoot further. The decision is controversial, but since it comes to that, the sharpness can be increased either in the photo itself or during processing. Better of course the first. 2) There is no stabilization in the camera and in the lens. The second is solved with the purchase of a new tube (lens) with a stabilizer. 3) Slow AF when looking through the screen, and not through the peephole. 4) He does not glue panoramas. This Canon is terribly lazy. Everything has to be done for him. And of course, if you do not have a tripod, panoramas are contraindicated for you! Nikon, by the way, D3300, can do this. But it also costs more. 5) No HDR mode. But there is bracketing! =)))) 6) Not dust and moisture protection. What do you want from a budget model? But teXet phones have protection and are inexpensive. And what have they got to do with it? We're talking about mirrors. 7) The native lens is not long-range. But I chose this one! It may seem strange, but if the native lens produces a very good picture quality, then there is no point in changing it. Yes. Some people have it, I personally don't. Solved, with the purchase of a new one. 8) The native RAW to Jpeg converter is sometimes not childishly buggy. But in most cases it works stably. 9) Fotak does not charge directly from USB You have to pull the battery back and forth. not critical, but still. 10) Obvious noise above ISO 1600. Not critical, this value is working, the value of 3200 is also working, and the noise can be removed in the FS. On a smartphone, horror at ISO 1600! Brrr! Trouble! It turns out that our copy does not know how to make coffee, and it also does not have a concrete puncher function! This is a clear minus, because. I love coffee, and wherever I am, I try to drink only it . I don’t need a perforator, but if it were built in, that would be great!
