Pros: - very easy to assemble - very durable once assembled - large compared to most scratching posts on the market - comes with a button strap for wall hanging for Stability - soft material - the house in the center is cute and a decent size, both kittens fit in it easily and sometimes sleep in it - the material is soft and some parts are soft, but it also feels cool - balloons on strings become constantly used when our cats frolic and climb a tree (By the way, balls are soft. They are springy because the ropes are elastic). a bit of the whole game, but they're easy to reset. Although I have arthritis and sometimes it hurts to squeeze them all the way. It has a good fit (which is good) but should be considered by anyone with severe arthritis. - We noticed that one of the beds had been pushed forward. not too much of a problem but I hope the pillow in it will last a long time as it gets a lot of use with cats jumping and sleeping on it. It's starting to bend/flatten out a bit because it's misaligned. - I would have preferred it to have come with an optional/optional stronger wood stabilization method despite the wood itself being so strong/sturdy. We will be drilling the tip and center of the stud with our own straps to ensure it doesn't tip over if the cats push off of it as they get older/heavier. Maybe it's too much, but it's better to be safe than sorry. In general. This is definitely a 5 star purchase for us, we are very happy with the product as are the kittens! If you're looking for a tall, stable scratching post that's easy to assemble, we've found this to be a good buy.
