I like these lights, especially for retrofitting an old design.

I used these to replace some of the old, outdated lamps in my parents' house. Installation was so easy that no modifications to the existing ceiling or wiring were required. It probably took me half an hour for all three light sources. Pay attention to the color temperature. These lights are cooler so are suitable for a bathroom or maybe a kitchen where bright light is needed. Speaking of brightness, you might consider putting them on a dimmer so you can control the output, because at full brightness they're very bright!
