Long term review, cracked plastic.

Long term reviewIve been using this keyboard daily for over a year, comfort wise its not an ibm keyboard, but it costs 55$Battery life is amazing, ive charged it only a handful of times, no complaints, lasts a very long time. The case protects well, ive dropped it from a table in a coffee shop on concrete, it was a hard thud, i was sure my ipad is done for, to my surprise the case fared well, just a dent, the plastic is soft so it didnt even crack. My biggest hurdle was the fact that the metal doesnt have grip on surfaces, especially on knees, so it slides around and you exercise caution when you type so it slows me down.Ive tried spraying it with plastidip, it worked well but started to peel off after a week, so I ordered tactical grip tape. The buttons on the right side dont make sense as there is no ctrl, alt or cmd so you alway have to use the left side. This morning i came to work, mind you its been on my table for a few days, and when i opened the case the hinge cracked.Ive had it for just over a year, its very unfortunate, i really dont feel like buying a new case just because of that.I will try to fix it as everything is working and its just the plastic around the hinge is cracked in a bad location.Over all, im pretty happy with it, everyone are always surprised about the size of my "laptop”.

Pros
  • The rose gold color is stylish and trendy
Cons
  • The keyboard may have a poor touchpad function

I actually really like it and have been wanting a case like this for my iPad for a while, the only think I can say is that the touchpad is a little laggy and sometimes I have to hit the space bar harder then usuals in or order for it to work but overall I really enjoy it
