Review on 📚 Sewing School: Paperback Book by Amie Plumley (Author) Released in December 2010 by Kelsey Brown

I have no sewing experience. When I bought this book, I thought my kids and I could learn a new skill together. I copied the materials list at the beginning and went to a craft store. The nice lady in the sewing department (who I assume knows a bit about sewing) couldn't find an exact match for the consumables. She took me to things she thought were the same, but it was a disappointing experience. I would like this book to be assuming no prior knowledge. If the lady in the sewing shop didn't know what the book was about, how would I know? I'm giving the book 2 stars because I love the bond and if I had prior knowledge I could probably get my kids through. Instead we gave up because I needed a more detailed explanation.
