Review on 12V Car Truck Emergency Strobe Flash Light Sucker Dashboard Interior Windshield Warning Light Bar Current (12LED Lights & Lighting Accessories by Brian Schultz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good LED and color rendering. Easy to use, might be a bummer to keep in place but can be fixed.

The light (LED) is better and brighter than I expected. It's easy to connect and easy to turn on and off and choose the lighting scheme. It can be screwed on (semi-permanent) or attached to the windshield with 4 small suction cups that stick 3/4 very well. The only issue I have with this flashlight is the plastic case, the rather thin "armored" plastic and the two side screws that attach the flashlight to the mount. These bolts get loosened multiple times during a 5 mile drive. I had to constantly reach out and screw them back in to keep them from falling into the dashboard vents. I've tried Alan's wrenches, I've tried pliers and recently I've tried locking threadlocker or another similar brand or product. It would be so distracting and even dangerous if everything fell down. When it's loose, it makes a lot of noise, giving you time to prepare. I really like this light but I would suggest screwing the mount down and definitely getting something like thread lock or glue or maybe even a lock washer for the two side screws. It could just be my set, but who knows? Oh you can't install it outside the cab, water and the elements will ruin it the first time you wash it. My tip for the manufacturer would be to maybe have a hardwired direct connect option or a fuse tap so it doesn't use the 12vdc cigarette lighter socket. And maybe. Have wing clasps to keep it in the mount. Everything else, with the exception of the case, is very good, if not perfect, with the exception of the built-in or optional siren.
