they ended up being better than I expected them to be. they don't look fake and have not caused any issues that you might expect with earrings this cheap. the only thing that I can say against them is that the piercing is a touch long and sometimes can cause mild discomfort when laying down on your side but I adjust my head slightly and that takes care of the issue. all in all I'm happy with the product.
