full opening, I don't wear skinny jeans so there is room for a wallet in the front pocket. Nothing more to say. It's well made, love the navy leather, and the two slots inside hold at least 4 cards on each side without making it bulky. I've seen some reviews that say the slots aren't wide enough to fit a standard card. this is not my experience at all. I have 4 cards on each side and they go in and out easily (almost too easy, to the point where I get nervous about one of them showing up, so I gave it 4 stars). The price of a high-quality leather wallet is unbeatable.
