Good lights! on wall lights

The good news first: Without a remote control, many fun light modes are available at the push of a button. More than most of those flashlights, so losing the remote isn't too bad. Here's the not-so-good part: Since it takes some power to power the remote control receiver, I took some quick measurements. In standby mode, the device consumes about 0.8mA; for white at full power, the current is about 40mA, single color or partial power is less. If you leave the flashlights on standby for a long time, remember that 2 days of standby is equivalent to 1 hour of full brightness. The batteries are exhausted after about 3 months. In comparison, the standby current is higher than many puck lights I have - some can be as much as 4 times lower. So if you only use it occasionally, use a small strip of plastic to break the connection on one of the batteries until you need it. So standby will drain the battery more, but it's much more interesting, especially for 2 year olds!
