We are very happy with it. We even ordered more. We ordered size 3-5 for our toddler who wore size 24m/2T. It fits great and may grow with her to the end of size 3T. I don't think it will fit if she is a size 4 or 5. So yes, it runs small. This is a great way to add extra warmth at night. She woke up cold in her pajamas. She sleeps well in these as long as her legs are covered too! Its worth it!
