Size XL fits my 19lb Schipperke perfectly. She injured her leg a few days ago - nothing is broken - but she couldn't take our usual long morning walk without limping. Today she ran a mile and then I carried her another mile in it while she rested and then she was able to walk the rest of the way home. With the side zippers and Velcro, it is very easy to put on and take off. It gave me an extra workout while wearing them. It's worth the price.
