On the one hand, they break (I already managed to break on Microlab SOLO6s - in the end I was left without bass tuning), but if you make a duplicate control panel on the speakers themselves, then it's not critical. Although for the majority, I think the lack of a remote control will not be any problem. VERDICT: speakers are 100% worth their money.
