The sound is decent but the cables are short

It's normal to listen to music with these headphones. The cables are too short. As a result, I get complaints from people on the other end of the line who can hear me. I always have to take them off and put them on the speakerphone or in the normal ear position to make calls. I think the problem is that the cord is so short that the mic isn't close enough to the mouth. So add a few inches on each side and that might solve the problem.
