I'm hard on boots, boots and sandals, in recent years I've only torn boots (quality boots) and sandals. Typically the last 5 pairs I've bought from Amazon, including the Teva and other more expensive models, fail because the straps pull out or, more commonly, the soles come off. Now I'm staying away from sporty looking double sole sneaker sandals because I just don't have enough glue to attach them. It's not my idea of "ideal" but they seem to be well built, the skin is thin, don't expect much customization from them, the design won't bring much change. I soaked mine in a warm water bath then took a 2 hour bush walk to try them on, the fit is good even without adjustment and is approximately a size 10.5 and the fit was recommended by the retailers. I didn't notice any color bleed like some reviewers claimed. I doubt they will last, especially when I'm wearing them in the woods, exploring rocky streams, and tracking wildlife. They might work well if you're just hanging out on a cruise ship or walking by the water on a well-deserved vacation, for me they were instantly comfortable and not irritating. They look like what a hiker would wear with or without socks. I don't care about looks (never have), I only care about functionality and durability. Reasonable price, reasonable quality, durability? Who knows. I already removed the stupid red "pass data" strip with a surgical blade. If they fail at the skin attachment points, I can at least change something in the shop so my weak Azov legs don't tear any more than they already have. I will update again. My thumbs are crossed.
