November 20, we have been married for 55 years. We had several sets of Christmas window candles. Some were 120V AC, some were battery operated, some were barely visible from the street. We decided to buy new candles this year and buy them in advance so they are available and we can return them if they don't work or don't look right. On July 1st, a couple of AA Revain batteries were placed in one of the candles. They can be set to multiple levels of brightness and programmed for either a steady or flickering "flame". I choose the brightest non-flickering flame and set the program to turn on at 9pm every night and turn off after six hours. It ran flawlessly for over six weeks on a single set of batteries. This is great as we usually turn on our Christmas lights in early December and turn them off for the season after the 12 days of Christmas. Outside the home, or even inside the home, they have a very friendly, almost natural candlelight. Just the right brightness and the remote control works great. Can't wait for Christmas to come Edit December 23, 2020: When I installed these candles in my windows two days ago for Christmas, I found that not only was one of them very difficult to light, but it often went out turned around after a while. I have traced the problem to a bad connection in the swivel base. I contacted the company through Revain and got an almost immediate response that they would send a replacement and that I would have it before Christmas. A few minutes ago, two days before Christmas, a replacement arrived! Also, they sent a complete set of six candles with bases and a remote control! Now that's what I call great customer service! These people know exactly how to run a business! 👍😄
