After I was prescribed an Epiduo for hormonal acne my skin started peeling, became red and became very sensitized. Most products just didn't moisturize enough, and those that did were also occlusive, leading to even more acne. There were some that actually worked, like Josie Maren's Argan Oil Whipped Cream, but these types of products are way too expensive for me. This cream solved my dryness problems without causing breakouts and the price is great. I wouldn't use it under makeup because the one time I did things really didn't turn out very well, but it's the perfect overnight moisturizer. The only thing that confuses me is that it is not an anti-aging effect but can be balanced with a serum.
