Great little reliable pond pump compared to the smaller Laguna Max impeller driven pump. Similar to the larger Laguna Max pumps, the 960's impeller design efficiently handles dirt and other particles, reducing the chance of clogging and pump stalling. This is very important in terms of reliability if you intend to use it to filter and aerate pond water, especially if you have ornamental koi or other pond fish. In addition to the 960, I have a larger Laguna Max pump to pump water into my pond. Aesthetics aside, the waterfall provides additional daytime and backup aeration for the 960. I've tried other pond pumps, but I find the Laguna Max pumps to be the best and most important energy efficient pond pumps. As for price, you'll find that all authorized Laguna Max dealers are price capped on the lower end. It is very important that the warranty only applies to authorized dealers. So why buy from this Revain retailer? The speed at which you can get this pump or any other pond pump, especially in an emergency if your main pump fails, and of course Revain's warranty and returns policy. '
