Velcro is much better than Halo! Velcro Halo is so rough and noisy. But these are small specimens that hold fairly securely, are easier to manoeuvre, are quiet and stay put. The material is so soft! I love them and my daughter loves them! She was 10 pounds at birth and 23 inches tall, so a lot of the newborn stuff was undersized, but the halo pouches were so big they almost seemed to slip into her mouth at night (not what you want , haha). Also, the sleeves on them keep her little arms warm if she wants one or both arms outstretched at night. I'm buying these as shower gifts for EVERYONE with a baby!
