If I had had a chance to hold this in my hands before I bought it, I wouldn't buy it. The clear plastic cover on the face was absent but was loose when I received it. When I called the company they asked me to send it to them and they quickly fixed it and sent it back and they did it but I had to pay to send it to them. I bought a Swiss (Swiss Army Knife) pocket watch for the same price and it is heavy and looks solid. The Charles-Hubert pocket watch looks light but has a very nice design.
