I already had white socks. They were so comfortable for early mornings and evenings that I bought them. I have severe edema from vascular insufficiency so I can't wear it, everyone says. I also have oversized knee pads for men so they don't cut my leg in the knee area. I hoped so. I have many problems with my feet and toes. High compression socks often cause toe pain. That's why I like these. I still get some compression but not the pain I get from heavier compression during the day. Nice to have.
