Everyone is familiar with sound. They continue to function after six years. I employ actively. Maybe the quality has improved today, but my pair still functions well. Sometime in the sixth year, foam rubber collapsed. It is fixed by purchasing new ear pads on eBay; there are absolutely no issues. I chose the leather trim ($350 with delivery to Hong Kong), but foam rubber is less expensive. Foam pads are the same way. Result of their wildly popular status worldwide. Everything is in working order, even the cord and plug.
