My child had to make an artifact from the 1800s-1900s and choose a weave. Several smaller baskets were made using the methods outlined in the instructions. An adult might need help getting started but my 10 year old eventually figured it out and worked on it for a few minutes a day until he was done. The baskets turned out so wonderful that the students couldn't believe they were homemade.
