opened the case within minutes of receiving the Kaisi kit

I had a noisy pocket radio* volume control that needed cleaning. Within minutes of receiving the Kaisi kit, I had opened the case and exposed the volume knob. Tools used included metal spatulas, angled tweezers, and a black nylon spatula with a curved tip on one end (what I call a "poker"). The blades are tapered in cross-section so that they can be pushed almost parallel to the body when opening. This does far less damage than twisting a screwdriver into a joint. There are videos on YouTube showing how to use spudgers. The tweezers were used to work with the small screws and to remove and reattach the small plastic disc covering the volume knob. The poker was used to move a wire stuck between the two halves of the case. and move the back of the battery compartment away from the case during disassembly. Although not included, I also used mini pliers and a Philips precision screwdriver. In the beginning, by the way, they were cotton swabs** soaked in 70% isopropyl alcohol. was enough to clean the volume knob. However, the noise is back, so an expensive and toxic contact cleaner may be required. /** For example, Q-Tips. Update September 28, 2019: One of the black nylon fiber spatulas had its tip damaged when I used it as a wedge to open a non-working USB stick. Magnifying glass, the damage appears to have been caused by compression and abrasion. The latter can be recognized by the black fibers sticking out at the edge. One star deducted because the black nylon fiber spatulas have to be replaced with harder material. NB: It looks like the drive case is glued together, which would explain why I had to use pliers to pry the hinge open before I could. Insert a metal spatula. The drive case has a plastic strap along part of the hinge, so the case cannot be fully opened with a metal spatula. So I stuck a nylon spatula between the metal connector and the partially open case. For reference, the drive was a Kingston Data Traveler 1GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DTI/1GB: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Traveler-Flash-DTI-1GB/dp/B000AV14M2/
