As already mentioned, this mug is not made in Finland. As a Finn, I would like that too.* I have to say that even though it's made in Thailand, it's still a very good cup. The exterior design has no flaws. The color is uniform, the mug is quite thick and durable. Holds at least 13 ounces of coffee plus cream or sugar. (I used to have a literal 13 ounce mug, but the coffee came filled to the brim with no cream or sugar.) Don't worry with this mug, you get exactly 13 ounces of coffee plus a little extra room to stir cream and sweetener without splashing. "Quarter Turn Method" with this mug. This is when you pour a full cup (8 oz) and then take out the K cup, squeeze or shake the cup a little and put it back in the Keurig machine about a quarter turn and pour in the smaller 5 oz. Then you have a nice tall 13 ounce coffee to enjoy. *I would pay about $10 extra to have this mug made in Finland. Yes I would. But I don't know how many other people do that. Comparing this mug to the Marimekko Unikko "Made in Finland" mug, I still prefer this Iittala mug - it's bigger and in my opinion has a nicer design (with the same quality).
