This item works fine but be aware: the magnet will block all other forms of wireless charging! This means the phone has to be removed from the case (assuming you've put a magnet inside) every time you want to charge it wirelessly outside of the car. As for speed and charging performance, everything is fine. This is not a fast charger, so it takes several hours to fully charge. The charging dock uses a USB-C cable, the same as most phones, so I often plug it straight in when I'm really low on power or need a quick boost. The magnet itself sticks very well and holds the phone on the base without any problems. . If the magnet wasn't blocking other wireless charging options I would give it a 4 or 5* rating.
