Review on 🧊 THERMOS FUNTAINER 12 Oz Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Kids Straw Bottle, Dark Minecraft by Jeremy Romero

We got this for my 14 month old son to use as a travel mug. He immediately grabbed the straw, and although he had to squeeze really hard (for his small finger strength), he happily opened and closed the thermos. However, it will 1) leak when open (DO NOT leave it in the back seat of your car with a toddler!) and 2) leak when closed UNLESS you pull really hard on the top of the straw, to make sure the elastic is all the way in. Cap, then run your fingernail along the edge of the elastic to make sure it's tucked under the thread. We had a lot of stains in the diaper bag before I found out. Of course, when you put it in so hard, it's difficult to get it out. Overall, we got what we wanted, but would have liked to see an easier way to at least get the rubber top out without having to push, pull, wiggle, and flatter. Oh, and for the interested parents, we easily infused warm (not hot) milk. Our temperature limit was based more on our toddler's ability to drink warm liquids from a straw rather than a cup. Your mouth is more sensitive with a straw. Do not believe me? Try taking a sip of hot coffee and then try taking a big sip through a straw because you don't know any other way to use a straw than to go all out!
