Review on Smartwool Merino Long Gaiter Black by Fred Griffin

After receiving this in the mail I took it to the mountains to camp in the 30 degree Fahrenheit. This gaiter warmed my neck, ears and most of the back of my head very well. I really like that the pattern looks neat but is still quite muted. The material is quite soft and the only itch I felt was my beard being pressed against my face. If I had one complaint, the inner diameter of these gaiters makes them quite uncomfortable for big-headed folks like me, but that's just my issue. I would happily buy this again. I recommend pairing this with a nice merino wool hat (choose something that contains around 80% wool. The remaining value can increase the durability of the item).
