I bought a used tray and found it very useful on our recent hike. We didn't use it as a frying pan but as a griddle. The tray can be heated to keep food warm. After use, it is easy to clean with soap and water. Also, this tray has some weight, but it's not heavy like cast iron and you don't have to worry about it cracking or breaking.
