Review on Valkit IPad Air (3Rd Gen) 10 Tablet Accessories by Erin Leuenberger

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is really a great case.

I really like this case. It has many advantages but not many disadvantages. Pros: Fits 10.5" iPad Pro snugly. Sturdy materials, seems like they really protect the device (good silicone bumpers). Smart lock feature to lock your iPad when you close the front of the case. Apple Pencil Holding position Silicone bumper sticks out to protect screen Cons: Hard to feel when volume and lock buttons are pressed Smart cover can fall off when held upright Smart cover in stand mode isn't the most durable stand Okay, that was the short version but it's actually not like this case is fair for the price of $20 In fact I was very impressed with how well made this case is, the materials are durable and very similar to what you get at Best Buy for at least twice the price This is the third case for my iPad that I have tested and it has by far the most durable build quality Clear bumpers on the edges and e A clear plastic back gets the job done or protects your iPad. If you want to protect your iPad with Don't Go Broke, grab this case and use the Smart Cover if you want. It's really just a bonus. I like how it feels. It's easy to hold and you don't feel like you need to take extra precautions to avoid dropping the device. To be honest, if I didn't use my iPad as a laptop backup every day, this would be my main case, not the keyboard case, which isn't great. The downside of this case is mainly the smart cover. The Apple Pencil holder is not detachable. (But I think it may get cut off if you don't buy an Apple Pencil.) The front may fall off if held upright and shaken well. This shouldn't happen as it has a few bit-like points that keep it in place somehow, and the magnets in the lid secure it to the screen, but the thought of it falling off due to some weird accident when it falls worries me. Unlike Apple Smart Covers which have 3 fold points to create a solid base for use as a stand, this one only has 2 fold points and the stand only holds up moderately well with magnets. That's why I gave the case 4 instead of 5 stars. Stand mode is more solid than it looks, but when it's on anything other than a hard, flat surface (like a bed or lap) the magnet doesn't hold it together very well. . In conclusion, if you are looking for a great case for the price, you should definitely buy this one.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Bad Set
