I expected lower print quality and it is. The color is dark gray rather than black. Still reads well and is suitable for economical printing. What I didn't expect was that the high-capacity toner cartridge would signal the printer to replace it after 452 pages. I'm not sure if the problem is with the printer, the chip, the integration between the cartridge and the printer or what, but shows low toner at 452 pages - seriously! I reset the display and resumed printing so at least the MFC-L2710DW isn't blocking me. Let's see how long the cartridge will print before it really needs to be replaced. Overall, though, for $14 a cartridge, don't expect more.
