Good value good for me

This feels really sturdy and I’m overall pretty happy with it. There were some part discrepancies that made assembly a bit frustrating. All the parts did come, but some holes were drilled wrong and one of the screws broke while I was hand tightening it. Many of the screws require an Allan wrench that comes included in the kit, but are a pain to put in.My biggest complaint is just that the section of wood pictured appears to be cut correctly, but the holes drilled in it were drilled so the skinny exit holes and the wider holes that allow the screws to be set back into the wood were drilled opposite where they should have been. It’s hard to explain, but you can see in the picture that the sides are cut at an angle. It looks like I could just take it off, flip it over and put it back together. Problem solved! Right? Nope, if you do that the holes for the screws are tiny little things that don’t allow you to set the screw head in enough to get a good grip on the piece of wood your screwing it into. So I had to attach it as it was drilled, and just deal with the gaps.I don’t think it will affect the sturdiness since the gaps are quite small. It just doesn’t look very nice. It’s on the back at the bottom, so it’s not something you really notice. I’m not worried. It just made assembly a bit frustrating and makes it look like I put it together wrong right there.I’m not sure why there’s an option to rate the ease of folding this stool as it does not fold.

Pros
  • Provides your child with a sense of empowerment and responsibility
Cons
  • The stool’s construction may be flimsy
