Spot owls or anything else you want to see in the distance at night with these spotlights. They brighten up the night as in the day. The only complaint I have about the dim lighting is that it has such a wide span that it blinds oncoming traffic even on the freeway. I chose these lights because they have a defined cutoff point that is easy to see when adjusting. Most LED headlights look more like headlights, but they aren't. However, even corrected downwards, they still shine quite brightly on the left and right.
