Great robe, I am a Japanese history (and anime) lover and have seen this style of robe in many films and shows. Not only does it look authentic, like others it is described as cool for hotter/wetter climates. It comes with a sash that you tie under the waistband, which will suffice, but I recommend that you complete the look with a separate sash. If you search YouTube on how to tie a yukata, you will likely see both straps. If you are looking for a real Gaijin sized yukata look no further than Edoten. I will definitely buy other styles and products from them.
