This would be a great solution to my intermittent 'brief' problem with my Honda minivan - if it worked! The battery is usually empty after 4-5 days without driving. After installing this system, I charged the battery overnight. The next day I had the ignition key in the on position without starting the engine while fiddling with the phone. After about 30 seconds everything went off. Headlights on as instructed, nothing. I fiddled with the ignition switch and everything came alive and the engine started. A few days after the van was not driven, the battery died. Headlights back on, nothing. I pressed the brake pedal - nothing. Everything was dead. Luckily I was home and was able to start the transporter from an outside source. Once upon a time I had a "Battery Buddy" put it in a car that was only driven once every few months and the battery died. Battery Buddy had a button to reset the electrical system. He has never let me down. Do not rely on the proper functioning of this component!
