I'm wearing my second pair of glasses and preparing for my third; but I need to think a little more before making a purchase. The first pair lasted me almost three years and I was completely satisfied until it broke. If you look closely at the frames, they have small holes for the adjustable straps to snap through, which is probably where they get their name from. It's these holes that weaken the frames and this is where my first pair finally broke. My second pair lasted less than a year and broke in the same place. I suspected this pair wouldn't last as long as they seem cheaper than the first pair. To be honest I want to like these glasses for their comfort and the quality of the lenses. My first pair of lenses are crystal clear even after three years of daily use and my second pair of lenses seem to be just as good. If they made a fixed frame model maybe I could wholeheartedly recommend these things but for the price I don't see the quality I expect. I might take the risk and buy a third pair as I like the glasses. On the other hand, I don't rush it. Edit June 2019: I bought a third pair and they lasted two years. Same rejection as the first two pairs; However, I don't lose these things at work (I'm a controls engineer in construction) and wearing them makes me almost a celebrity as I'm constantly being approached about them by people who want to try something other than the standard reader. I should note that I wear these glasses around my neck every day and use them for almost half of my waking hours, so those who don't need glasses as often as I do can last much longer. I've just ordered my fourth pair and I'm willing to admit that I love these pieces and would buy again and again despite knowing it's about to break. I can't give them more stars as the design hasn't changed, but for me they are worth the price.
