This is normal. Like everyone else, I have a hard time finding paper products. This includes fabrics! I thought this would be a good alternative as I have very severe allergies and need to constantly blow my nose. It's great that there are so many of these, but they're really quite prickly. If you had a cold or a very runny nose, you would most likely remove a layer of skin in a jiffy. They're good for a blast, maybe two if you're careful, and then you should wash them and get another one. I try not to rub my nose too hard. I was hoping they would soften with washing but after about 5 cycles they are still just as scratchy. They work in a pinch, but I looked for a milder alternative and bought this. I think they would be perfect for crafts or table decorations! The patterns and embroidery are very cute.
