I bought this for a company party in the 80's. It looked great when I took it out of the box apart from some serious creases from folding. I would recommend the manufacturer to pack it differently. Maybe it works somehow? i did something stupid I don't have an iron so I decided to put it in the dryer on a gentle setting to smooth out the wrinkles. The creases were mostly gone, but then I just had straight creases in the background and the main parts of the pattern were missing. DO NOT DRY THE DRYER EVEN ON THE MOST DELICATE SETTING! It's my fault for trying that. The 4 star rating is simply due to the insane creases on the product to be used for hanging and photos. Background versus bars don't do what I did. The texture of this thing is more like a vinyl tablecloth. I should have known better. However, the size of this thing is great! I would still recommend this background despite its ability to lose its pattern. Maybe he could handle the steam from the iron? But of course, cover the fabric with a towel and do it inside out. You shouldn't risk too hot a pattern as it looks very delicate.
