Review on Auto Meter 8457 Transmission Temperature by Ken Pinell

I bought this Transmission Temperature Sensor for my third generation Toyota 4Runner. I like the full size cluster so I can control key engine functions. As another reviewer noted, installation was very easy and has been working flawlessly since September 2013. This review will take place at the end of January 2021, i.e. after approximately eight years. In this day and age of discarded items, Auto Meter deserves positive credit for producing a quality Transmission Temperature Sensor. This sensor replaced a much more expensive transmission temperature sensor that came out of the box. So it was nice to find a quality instrument that also matched Toyota's bright green factory gauges. This is definitely a five star product.
