Faulty, cheap and missing parts

I'm moving and getting a lot of new furniture. I have collected over a dozen pieces of furniture. Most furniture is much larger and more complex than this item. However, this was the most frustrating and time consuming part of the build so far. At first a few parts were missing, including one of the legs for the convertible top (more on that later). The wood was also scratched and dented. A couple of times halfway through the build I found that the holes weren't drilled all the way OR were blocked by random bits of metal. My lower right corner is not fully assembled. The hole looks like it was done right, but then it got blocked. At first I thought it was paint and I might rip it off, but it turned out to be dried metal. I ended up assembling the part without him, but it's not assembled properly. The instructions were minimal but I was able to follow them. The instructions labeled the parts with letters, but there were no stickers or anything to indicate which part was which. With many details it was obvious, but some of them looked very similar. I was able to assemble them and everything looks fine. I don't understand the above part though. It's not very comfortable as a table (even if I didn't have a leg). It also doesn't screw or attach to the top. He just sits there. I'll be honest, I'll probably throw the top away. It seems pointless. The night light is very cheap. This is certainly not what I expected for this price. I don't recommend it. There is better furniture.
