They looked very durable online with their very thick sole, but we were disappointed with the very stiff, rather inflexible sole and the cheap feel of all components. My grandson doesn't like that they don't flex well when walking or running. The plastic clip that holds the faux laces together is flimsy and looks like it's going to break easily. Without this, the shoes will not hold up well as the laces cannot be tied. They don't let air through well as there is fabric behind the mesh in some places. It looks like the mesh was only added to the outside as a design feature. A piece of cloth tag with a poorly translated English sentence was junk and dangled oddly so we cut it off. For the same price, every major store has options comparable or better than this shoe.
