You definitely need a firm/light arm and less is more but before microblading I loved it! I've had the lipstick for a little over a year and its quality hasn't changed (it hasn't dried up, the application is still smooth, no color change). Water resistance is excellent as long as you don't intentionally (and forcefully) rub your brows. It has, my friend, withstood water sports (jet skiing, 10ft falls, etc.) so you don't have to worry about smearing or wear and tear on the product. Once you get the hang of it, this material will really help, especially if you have little to no eyebrows like I do. Most people couldn't even tell that those weren't my real brows, isn't that what we all want?
