For a 22 year old woman trying to control this doll, the hand space in the doll is normal, it fits well. But my friend whose hands are a little bigger can't place his hand comfortably. IF YOU HAVE BIG HANDS DO NOT TAKE THIS DOLL. Otherwise I like embroidery. I really like using the doll. It's fun and I'm happy with my purchase.
