Certain benefits - very small (can easily fit in a jacket pocket) - craftsmanship (made in Japan) - an easy-to-use, multipurpose ring that surrounds the lens (can be adjusted to fixed focal lengths 24-28-35-50.) - Support for RAW formats (Av, TV, etc.). - practical touch screen Cons are: - dull end image - the lens's aperture ratio drops too quickly as the focal length increases. A stunning backdrop blur for a portrait won't work or will be challenging to achieve. - too few aperture options are available in Av-mode; - too poor a battery, but excusable - Take into account that there is no macro mode.
