Not an exact replacement, VERY bad product

I have been using Norelco razors for over 40 years and have always been happy with them. After using my current razor for about 5 years I noticed that the blades needed a few extra passes to get a close shave so I decided to try a new head unit. The new unit arrived just a few days later (well done) and that's when the problems started. First, the new block failed to snap onto the razor properly, one side kept trying to pop out. I took it apart a few times trying to figure out what was wrong and oddly enough it finally stood right. I have no idea what's going on there. This was the first time I tried shaving with the new blades. They "lift and cut" less than "grab and pull". It actually hurt to shave with it. Confused, I took it all apart again to see if I could figure out what was wrong, and then I noticed that these replacement blades don't exactly replace the originals. They don't seem to have any additional detailing on the blades to do what I'm guessing the "lift" function. I have checked the box to ensure it is not a brand sold under the Norelco name and that it says 'Made for Philips Consumer Lifestyle'. I'm not sure who actually makes the original blades, so I don't know if that matters. It seems odd to me that Philips makes blades that they put in a razor and also makes another, much worse set of blades to sell as replacements. In any case, the bottom line is that these replacement blades are rubbish and I ended up just buying a new razor. Can't recommend these.
